Built for Business Owners Who Want Straight Answers.

Crestwood North Advisory was founded on a simple idea: business owners deserve financial advice that is practical, independent, and grounded in how businesses actually operate.

After nearly two decades in commercial banking, I saw the same challenge repeatedly. Successful businesses often had accountants, bookkeepers, bankers, and other professionals doing good work—but no one sitting beside the owner connecting all of those pieces and helping think through the bigger financial decisions.

That is the role Crestwood North Advisory is designed to fill.

I work directly with business owners to understand the business, identify what matters, evaluate the alternatives, and make complicated financial decisions easier to understand. Sometimes that means digging into cash flow and performance. Sometimes it's evaluating an acquisition or major investment. Sometimes it's determining how to finance the next stage of growth.

The goal isn't to produce more reports.

It's to help you make better decisions.

Meet the Founder

Marshall Darneille: Founder & Principal

Marshall Darneille founded Crestwood North Advisory after nearly two decades in commercial banking, where he worked directly with privately held businesses across a wide range of industries.

Throughout his banking career, Marshall evaluated businesses from the lender's side of the table—analyzing cash flow and operating performance, assessing risk, structuring financing, and helping owners navigate complex financial decisions.

He founded Crestwood North to bring that experience directly to business owners: providing independent financial insight, strategic guidance, and capital expertise without the cost or complexity of adding a full-time CFO.

Our Values

Clarity Over Complexity

Financial advice should make decisions easier, not make the owner feel like they need a finance degree to understand the answer.

Independent Perspective

Advice should be driven by what is right for the business—not by a product that needs to be sold or a transaction that needs to close.

Practical Advice

The best financial strategy is one that actually works in the real world, and should account for each unique business, owner and circumstance.
